About Us

John and Nancy Buford started creating beautiful glass using a few basic tools on a folding table under a shade tree. Since then, curiosity encouraged us to continue learning and exploring.

We cut Bullseye sheet glass into pieces and assemble them into a pattern. The glass pieces are melted in a kiln at about 1500°F and fused into a solid blank. The glass blank is placed on top of a ceramic mold, melted again at only about 1150°F and allowed to slump into the mold. Then we coldwork the slumped glass to its final shape and finish.
